Before THESIVE, Varun built products and operating systems for consequential environments. He founded and scaled Battle Gear Technologies, a military and police-equipment company whose tactical products were adopted by Indian Special Forces, DRDO and counter-terror units. The work joined product design, manufacturing, supply chain, field deployment and institutional partnerships.
He holds two Government of India design patents in tactical and personal-protection systems and collaborated with DRDO on defence innovation and product development. That background made evidence, failure modes, usability and accountable human decisions practical requirements rather than abstract principles.
THESIVE brings that systems discipline to capital. AI can research, compare, remember and propose, but consequential action remains legible and human-authorised.
