THESIVE began as a practical attempt to carry complexity without giving away human authority.
Research, memory, monitoring and context switching accumulate quickly. Useful intelligence became interesting because it could keep working after the person stepped away.
THESIVE grew from two recurring problems: building systems that remain useful under constraint, and respecting that consequential judgement ultimately belongs to a person.

THESIVE's development itself became an experiment in cooperation: different artificial-intelligence systems contributed different strengths at different stages, with human judgement governing what was kept, challenged or rejected.
